This qualification is ideal for experienced tradesmen who are stepping into or already operating in a supervisory role within the construction industry. It recognises your ability to oversee teams, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety and quality on site. If you’ve been leading a gang, supervising specific trades, or handling daily site tasks and coordination, this NVQ proves your competence and helps progress your career into more formal supervisory positions.

What It Covers:
- Supervising and coordinating construction operations
- Managing health, safety and welfare on site
- Monitoring quality of work and ensuring work meets specifications
- Allocating and monitoring resources, tools, and workforce
- Maintaining effective communication between teams and management
- Implementing site procedures and solving practical issues
Eligibility:
- At least 3–5 years construction experience
- Currently working in or stepping into a supervisory role
- Age 19+

Duration:

Outcome:
